And
again a bird
A
condor on the Western sky Flying so high A good child Drinking rum at the
window The maids read the mistress’s letters While she has no idea about
it Riding the local lawyer
How
dirty the water is this morning Thought the beavers Who are forbidden To
build a dam The forest was dying Nostalgically sighing for its knight ”Remember
death”
In
the blue ice of the morning Eskimos were enjoying themselves Later eating
pudding Gossiping about the trappers Dreaming of hunting seasons And singing
to the whales And the boy having drunk the rum Becomes wise and unique Goes
out the window Abandons his father
Curtain
